These terms govern your use of the Softball Source app and its related services (the newsletter and our backend APIs). By using the app, you agree to them.
Softball Source is an independent fan app dedicated to the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Athletes Unlimited, the AUSL, or any of its teams or athletes. Team names, player names, statistics, and related information are presented for informational and fan purposes, drawn from publicly available sources.
Accounts are optional. If you create one, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).
Don't abuse the service. In particular, you agree not to:
Scores, statistics, schedules, news, and other content are provided on a best-effort basis and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. The app is for entertainment and informational use only — don't rely on it where accuracy matters (for example, wagering). Video highlights link to or embed content hosted by third parties (such as YouTube), which is governed by those platforms' own terms.
We provide the app and services without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Softball Source and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to use it (the app is free, so this will typically be zero).
We may suspend or terminate access to the service for accounts that violate these terms or abuse the service. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version; continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
